The bitter part of SGR

       THE BITTER PART OF SGR

We all expected SGR to bring a lot of changes in the economy of our county but what happened to the ones who depended on trucks? Now that most of the goods are transported by trains the ones who depended on trucks do not have what to do. They end up losing jobs that is the drivers due to lack of jobs. Some of them have driven this trucks for many years and since the SGR came by which we taught will be a big relief to our economy has caused damage to their lives. Since they lacked jobs they don't have what to depend on. Imagine these families what they are going through whereby you just wake up one day and you don't have a job and you have to take care of your family that's paying school fees, rent, food and many other essential things. This led to them going on strike complaining on how they are suffering.
The owners of the trucks had even taken loans so as to buy those trucks knowing that they will pay their debts but their business just collapses from nowhere and you're left with nothing buy a very big loan to pay. How do you even start a new business yet you have no capital and at the same time you have a loan to pay. The only thing you're left with is with the truck which goes nowhere because they can no longer transport goods and you can not sell them since they have no value. This has brought a very big lose to them and what they are going through is very saddening.
They say since the SGR their business trips has reduced and they are the ones to wait for goods compared to the days when they used to travel for days. The truckers container freight stations and clearing agencies have continue to count loses with some logistics stations companies retorted to have resorted to restructuring.A photo of SGR
